Social Media Principles - Final Thoughts
The end of the semester has finally came, so I’m going to review the class! This class was actually a
big eye opener for me. I had interned at a marketing firm for a year and a half before I started this
class. The firm mainly worked with social media marketing so I thought I had a good idea about what
I was doing. Now, after I few weeks in this class, I realized that I was wrong. I had no idea what I
was doing.
Professor Agozzino, Aggie, is pretty awesome. A majority of my roommates are communication or
public relations majors so I knew a lot about her before the class. I also was in Public Relations
Student Society of America, PRSSA, an organization on campus that Aggie runs. I really enjoyed the
classroom environment.
Finally, I learned a lot in Principles of Social Media. As a graphic design major, I think that having
that class on my resume will set me apart from other graphic designers when looking for jobs. It
really helped me understand what goes on in the background in the social media marketing world.
I’m really glad I took this class!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you enjoyed the class! I, too, enjoyed it and loved learning more about communications!
Thanks for sharing,
Alyson
I think one of my regrets was not joining PRSSA sooner. I may look at join next year because it sounds like a great experience. This is one of the more enjoyable classes i have taken here at ONU.
