Friendsgiving

Ever since I’ve found my set group of friends here at Ohio Northern, we started celebrating most
holidays together. The past two years we have celebrated galentine’s day, Christmas, friendsgiving,
St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween together. When this time of the year comes, we start to plan our
friendsgiving. Our friendsgiving dinner is this Friday. Last week we planned who is bringing the ham,
stuffing and sangria, so we are all set.

This friendsgiving will be my second to last holiday event with my best friends during my college
career. I’m sure we will still hang out after I graduate in December, but it won’t be the same with me
not living there. So with graduation a month away and Thanksgiving being around the corner, I find
myself being thankful for my friends. Thinking over the last few years, we’ve had fights, good laughs
and the best dance parties.

Ashley, I am thankful for you always being able to calm me down when I’m stressed and letting me
rant even when it’s over something stupid. Taylor, I am thankful for always being trustworthy and the
sweetest soul I have ever met. Hannah, I am thankful for your witty jokes and your ambitious
attitude. Abby, I am thankful for your laugh. It is truly contagious and it is one of my favorite things to
come home to see you laughing at Ellen videos. I love you guys.

  1. This warmed my heart so much. Spending time with your friends that have shaped the past few years of college here at ONU is so valuable since it ends faster than we ever really notice. Have so much fun at your friendsgiving!
