User Personas

Today I found an interesting infographic from the team at CleverTap. It provides points on the
process of identifying and marketing toward your audience. Doing this is a key park of maximizing
your digital marketing efforts. It takes a look at the how and why of user personas along with what
benefits they can provide.
When someone talks about user personas, they are talking about the representation of your target
consumers. This is put together through real user research. This research is put together through
fictitious characters. These characters are put together specifically by the marketing teams to
represent the types of people who may become users. This method can create a major inside to
guide your social posts, email wording, and website design. 
There are many benefits to creating user personas. They create a consistency and an understanding
of your users across the business. They also create a deep understanding of user behavior and
user-focused reasoning. For example, it can help gain and understanding of where users spend their
time online and which social networks they are active on.

I think user personas are an amazing tool in the marketing world. To create fictional profiles to cater
too allows you to specifically work with personalities that you will be targeting. It’s almost like putting
yourself in someone else's shoes so you are able to see how they see. This  method can definitely
be used in many different situations and still be effective.
